When patients leave DR. CARA VAN WORMER-HARTMAN’S (DC, DABCI, DACBN) clinic, they have answers they’ve never gotten before. “My number one goal is to get my patients results by addressing the underlying causes of disease and promoting optimal wellness,” she says. That was her goal in founding Therapeutic Health Associates in 2015, which has grown so rapidly over the past six years that she is in the midst of building a brand new, state-of-the-art functional medicine and chiropractic clinic at 110 E. Ogden Avenue in Hinsdale. “This new clinic is a culmination of my work thus far, representing my vision of where medicine is going,” she adds. As a chiropractic physician and Medical Director of the clinic, I put in long hours and have given it 100 percent since founding Therapeutic Health. I know my love and passion for functional medicine comes out in my work.” Dr. Hartman’s reputation and pedigree have been hard earned. With 13 years of functional medicine and chiropractic experience, she is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the National University of Health Sciences with a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine Degree, an Institute for Functional Medicine Practitioner, a Certified NeuroEmotional Technique Practitioner, a certified acupuncturist, and is a diplomate with the American Board of Chiropractic Internists & Clinical Nutritionists. Her vision is “To attain a detailed understanding of a patient’s genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors and create a personalized treatment plan that leads to improved patient outcomes.”
