The Success Whisperer

“There’s something happening right now. It’s like a nebula is going to explode as people rush to harness their creativity. It’s like a nebula is going to explode. I want to be a part of it. In the end this is really helping good people do good things” says Brittany Jelinek.
She is the co-founder and creative force behind Truffleberry Market, the exquisite catering company every chic Hinsdale and Chicago hostess has on speed dial. Jelinek grew Truffleberry from a small operation to a multi-million-dollar powerhouse. Ten years in, while exploring new spaces, a different path appeared. Jelinek guided the sale of Truffleberry to The Paramount Group. This final phase of business may have been the most difficult, but this entrepreneurial chef handled it with her signature grace.
After a pause, opportunities to guide and consult began popping up for Brittany.
She was accepted into a masters program for psychology, but chose to defer. Instead, she’s using those soft skills along with the hard lessons learned in scaling a business so beautifully.
“My new business is The Helm Co. I’m working with 10 people right now, all in various phases of their businesses. Whether they want to grow or just breathe easier, I’m here for it. Catering is a logistics business, a very controlled chaos, which helps me help my clients,” says Jelinek.
Having been completely entrenched in all aspects of Truffleberry, there really are no roadblocks she hasn’t navigated, nor any tricky wickets she hasn’t negotiated. This experience is everything for business owners looking for a trusted sounding board.
From brand identity to growth strategies, Helm Co. is full service without the fuss. That’s intentional. “I know what it’s like to try and jam creativity into short bursts of time,” the busy mom says. “That is a superpower for a lot of women, one I encourage leaning into.” Brittany’s philosophy is that each decision matters, and while she’s not encouraging anyone to overthink, being intentional with each choice is the best way to propel any business forward.
“One of mentors had a saying, ‘forward is a speed,’ and that really resonates with me. Just keep moving forward and whatever you’re working toward will align,” Jelinek says.
When not working with clients, Brittany is loving life in her hometown of Hinsdale. With her husband, two boys, family, a bevy of friends, and an adventurous spirit, you might find her nipping in and out of local favorites like Altamurra and Toni Patisserie or playing paddle with a big group of women.
This is someone who is making the absolute most out of life. Someone who shows us that second acts, third acts, any acts, can be joyful, fruitful, and successful.
“I feel like a pioneer of entrepreneurial emotion,” says Jelinek. Expect great things from this lovely woman who has already achieved so much, yet truly seems to be just getting started.
