LIFE INSIGHT THERAPY COLLECTIVE proudly opened the doors to its new location in Hinsdale this fall. To celebrate, the mental health provider hosted guests for a ribbon cutting ceremony, outdoor reception, and small group tours of the new space on October 16. And while Life Insight has been a part of the community for 15 years, it’s excited to deepen those roots and connect with other local business, including those who participated in the grand opening: Vistro Restaurant provided its signature cuisine during the event, paired with Tee Tee’s Sweets for dessert, florals by Phillip’s Flowers and Gifts, and custom-branded face masks by Jak Creative Design. Founder and owner Sarah Stukas says it best, “I started Life Insight with the sole purpose of creating a home for our clients and therapists—a place where they could be supported, achieve the goals they set for themselves, and thrive in their lives, their work, and their relationships.” Life Insight is located at 115 South Vine Street, in Hinsdale. The WESTERN SUBURBS GIVING CIRCLE (WSGC) kicked off its fall season of giving on the heels of its tremendously successful 2019-2020 grant cycle. The nonprofit, which is one of six circles of the Councils of Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW), is comprised of leaders in health care, finance, law, education, design, IT, marketing, public relations, nonprofits, and more. With grants totaling more than $40,000, WSCG contributed to local organizations: Styles4Kidz, Legal Aid Society’s Human Trafficking Initiative, DuPage Early Childhood Collaborative, Teen Parent Connection, and CFW’s Rapid Response Initiative. Established in 2016 with three founding members, the nonprofit has grown to 40 members in 2020 and has raised more than $130,000 for local women and girls. WSGC is currently accepting new members and hopes to grow its membership in 2021. For more information, visit cfw.org/what-you-can-do/western-suburbs-council-page.
