THE BREAKTHROUGH BALL

The Breakthrough Board hosted a spectacular evening celebrating life-saving innovations at UChicago’s Comprehensive Cancer Center. The gala raised more than $1.3 million to fund future cancer research initiatives with high breakthrough potential. The Breakthrough Board is one of Chicago’s oldest charitable boards and has raised more than $25 million since its inception 75 years ago. This year’s theme, “Where Breakthroughs Blossom,” captured the recent growth of the board as they welcomed a talented class of new members.
