Greatest risk you’ve taken as a professional? I had a fulfilling career in technology sales management. I had tons of corporate support as a woman in technology and management. In hindsight, people may have thought I was crazy to transition to an independent real estate role in a whole new field that has a 5-year failure rate of 87 percent. However, it has worked out greater than I could have ever imagined, despite not even knowing the odds were against me!

Traits you think great leaders possess? Great leaders genuinely like, enjoy, and care about people. When you care about people, you take care of them which includes listening, showing gratitude, holding them accountable, and having a good environment.
