Each case has a number of variables that she needs to take into consideration before she makes a move: the presiding judge, opposing counsel, the facts of the case, and her client’s wants and needs. Pasulka never intended to be a family law attorney but was offered a job in a family law firm and realized that she had a talent for managing the demands of clients with the demands of the law. “While I was working at that firm and learning the ins-and-outs of family law, it became clear to me that I was a good fit for this line of work,” she says.
