Michael J. Levy is a partner at Beermann LLP, where he devotes his practice exclusively to family law matters involving complex financial disputes, parenting issues, maintenance, child support, adoptions, and high-conflict litigation. Known for his thoughtful advocacy and practical approach, Levy helps clients navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions while remaining focused on long-term solutions.
A graduate of Boston University and the University of Wisconsin Law School, Levy has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star and was named among the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys’ Top 10 Under 40. Beyond his practice, he is actively involved in shaping the future of family law in Illinois and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association Family Law Section Council. He has been invited to present on family law topics for the National Business Institute and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School in Spring 2025.
