The Deerpath Garden Club of Lake Forest, with co-chairs Catherine Douglas and Barbara Moore, hosted 55 members and guests during the group’s annual holiday luncheon at Glen Rowan House on the campus of Lake Forest College in early December. Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and a showing of charming, holiday-inspired birdcages decorated by members. Connie Maines and Mary Carlson, who serve as the club’s philanthropy chairs, headed a sock drive during the luncheon as well as the club’s commitment to festively decorate the Glen Rowan House each year. deerpathgardenclub.org
