It’s been 13 years since MIRA ALBERT, DDS, MBA, M.S., FAAPD, founded Brush Pediatric Dentistry in Hinsdale, in part to be closer to her two children but also with a vision to reinvent how children experience the dental health journey. Believing that a visit to the dentist should be both fun and empowering, she recruited a team of like-minded experts to deliver the best and most compassionate care possible to the families they serve—fostering lifelong oral health goals. A year after the practice opened, Dr. Albert met and became a mentor to MAGGIE RIZZO, DMD, who joined Brush as a pediatric dentist in 2019, recently became a partner at the new location in Downers Grove, and is expecting her third baby. With a commitment to offering young patients and their parents worldclass dental service and care, Dr. Albert and her expanding practice remains a top choice for families.

Most rewarding part of what you do?
Dr. Albert: Brush Pediatric Dentistry has helped in emergencies and watched kids grow up and go off to college. We’ve mentored multiple young women down a path from high school or college into a career in pediatric dentistry. We also provide a work environment where colleagues become lifelong friends outside of the office.

How should women support other women?
Dr. Rizzo: I wouldn’t be able to do what I do and am supported every day by our amazing all-women team!

How do you inspire others?
Dr. Albert: If I inspire women, I will say it’s because of my grit. I don’t give up very easily and generally try to continuously create and improve.
Dr. Rizzo: It’s leading by example. My own hard work acts as a catalyst for inspiring others to reach their full potential.
