Growing up, BRIANA BRANDT MURRAY’s parents always told her that when you get where you are going, turn around and help others. “They exemplified that mindset,” she says. “And I fell in love with real estate because I was helping people every day find their dream homes to build a family in, or sell their family homes that had a lifetime of memories.” After building her multimillion dollar real estate business with @properties, Murray said it was time for her to help others in some way. Her parents are her role models, so when her mom passed away from cancer, and then her dad was recently diagnosed, she seized upon a new philanthropic opportunity that came her way. “It was a true honor to be nominated this year to be on the Board of Directors at the Wellness House,” she says. “I believe that you can have everything in life that you want, if you help enough people get what they want. I stand by that in business and in my everyday life.” On a daily basis, Murray puts her education (she holds a Masters in Advertising from DePaul University) to work along with her designation as a Certified Staging Consultant, helping her clients stage their homes pre-market, which sets her listings up for success. “I’m all about full service and honesty,” she says. “Real estate is more than a transaction, it’s a life moment. I pride myself that my clients always become friends. That’s a true testament, in my opinion.”
