Childhood friends Loïc Le Gaillard and Julien Lombrail founded Carpenters Workshop Gallery in 2006 when they noticed a gap in the market for art collectors. Realizing the quality of collectors’ furniture did not match that of the art on their walls, the friends decided to create a new category of art/design dubbing it “HAUT ARTISANAT SAVOIR FAIRE.” With galleries in Paris, New York, and Los Angeles, and a soon-to-open mega space at London’s Ladbroke Hall, Le Gaillard and Lombrail have now set their sights on the American Midwest market. The company will be participating in EXPO CHICAGO’s 10th-anniversary edition, and Chicago native and art advisor Betsy Beierle has joined Carpenters Workshop Gallery as a senior sales associate. Don’t miss their booth at EXPO—it is the place to see and be seen. carpentersworkshopgallery.com
