EVENING OF COLLABORATION

An “Evening of Collaboration for Breast Cancer Research” at Theater on the Lake was the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation’s first in-person fundraiser since 2019. Honoree and breast cancer survivor Diana Rauner gave an impassioned speech about the importance of finding a cure, and the organization announced its commitment to fund a first-of-its-kind collaboration between University of Chicago, Northwestern, and RUSH in the field of breast cancer that will help improve treatment disparities and aims to decrease breast cancer mortality.
