Enter Holiday Atelier, a bespoke service founded by North Shore interior designers Ann Cariola and Beth Higgins that transforms homes into beautifully curated holiday spaces. Q: How does Holiday Atelier differ from other holiday decorating services?
A: We couldn’t find any North Shore services devoted exclusively to thoughtfully designed residential holiday interiors. While some focus on exterior lighting, we create warm, magical indoor spaces that reflect each client’s personality, drawing on our interior styling experience.

Q: How do you create unique holiday designs?
A: Every project begins with a consultation and home walkthrough. We learn each client’s style and create a plan tailored to it—whether timeless and traditional, neutral and organic, or entirely their own. Our interior design firms also give us access to extensive retail and trade resources, allowing us to curate distinctive décor.

Q: What if I have cherished family decorations?
A: We love incorporating meaningful pieces. Blending treasured heirlooms with new décor makes each design feel authentic, elevated and personal. A grandmother’s angel tree topper or travel-collected ornaments can make a holiday home especially warm and memorable.

Q: What happens after the consultation?
A: We prepare a proposal outlining the design concept, installation plan, service fee and estimated décor budget. Once approved, we source and install everything, then return after the holidays to pack it for storage in your home.

Q: Do you decorate individual spaces or entire homes?
A: We do it all! Projects can range from a fully styled home to a decorated tree and dining room. We design mantels, stair garlands, tablescapes, kitchens, guest rooms and more. Service investments begin at $2,000 for smaller or single-space projects; décor purchases are separate.

Q: When should clients book?
A: Early! Our installation calendar fills quickly, so reserving your consultation in early fall is ideal.
