Trombatore retired in 2018 after 25 years in technology, outsourcing, and analytics sales. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelors in Business Administration and a minor in Aviation, Trombatore has also been involved in and passionate about animal rescue for most of her adult life. In 2019, she joined the Board of Directors for Second City Canine Rescue (SCCR), a 10-year old, 700 volunteer strong organization with a new adoption center in Palatine. She is also currently a foster home for SCCR, on the fundraising committee, and is cochair for the annual gala, Cocktails for Canines. Trombatore’s goal is educate people about the benefits of rescuing a pet versus buying one. Over the past two years she has helped build a volunteer base in Barrington which has also driven many dog adoptions in our community. Trombatore lives in North Barrington with her longtime partner, Josh, three daughters, two dogs, four cats, two snakes, one parrot, and a variety of aquatic animals.
