The heat is powered on at Forever Om Yoga, and not because of the freezing temps outside. The heat is on with mindful intention.
Hot power vinyasa sits at the studio’s core—a dynamic yoga style practiced in a heated room, where breathwork and flowing sequences build endurance, strength, and sharpen mental focus. In addition to hot power vinyasa, the studio offers other heated classes such as Rise & Shine and Quick Fix.
“We teach dynamic classes in a hot room because it’s one of the many ways to get out of one’s head and into meditation,” says founder, Cilla Stoll. Dubbed as “meditation in motion,” Stoll says, “It’s not the only way, but it’s the Forever Om way.”
And while this energizing, heated flow forms the foundation of the studio’s approach, it’s far from the only way students can fully experience Forever Om Yoga. The studio also regularly offers Athlete’s Recovery™ and Sculpt classes to complement mobility, endurance, and overall vitality.
However, students can deepen their practice with its expert teachers through immersive workshops in meditation, sound healing, arm balances, inversions, and the ritual of 108 salutations. Through the workshops, students refine their power, presence, and harmony of body, breath, and mind.
One of the most popular of the workshops is a foundational class where students who are newer to yoga can learn the basics behind what is done in regular practices while asking teachers questions about breath, poses, and philosophy.
Another fan favorite is Unwind & Flow. Set in a warm, softly lit room, this meditative flow is a heat-forward class, but gentler than hot power vinyasa.
The Winter Solstice 108 workshop blends ritual and rhythm through 108 Sun Salutations—a sacred number in yogic tradition and many spiritual traditions. In the ritual of 108 Sun Salutations, the number symbolizes spiritual completeness and harmony, making the practice a moving meditation of dedication, purification, and renewal. Gently heated and practiced by candlelight, the experience closes with loving-kindness meditation, creating a natural space for release, reflection, and the welcoming of new beginnings.
Other workshops strike a balance between strength and surrender with Heart & Hearth, Take Flight, and Ignite Your Year.
While yoga naturally tones and strengthens the body, Stoll emphasizes knowing and living one’s most authentic life. “I opened Forever Om Yoga years ago because I wanted a space where everyone feels welcomed,” Stoll explains. “I empower people to be who they are through the art of yoga.”
Teachers at Forever Om Yoga emphasize guidance over dogma—an approach Stoll says sets the studio apart from more passive or overly choreographed styles. Instructors offer clear direction while allowing freedom of personal expression, encouraging students to explore options, modify poses, or ease the practice when necessary. Rather than prescribing a single way to move, the practice empowers individuals to listen to their bodies.
“We’re not afraid to clearly guide students in class,” Stoll explains. “Our goal is for everyone to show up, discover where they are in their minds and bodies that day, and do what they’re called to do—while still being motivated to give their best as a path toward self-discovery.
