After living and working as a nurse in Chicago for years, Emily Rosencrans and her young family moved to Barrington in late 2020. She quickly found a sense of community and friendship within the Barrington Junior Women’s Club (BJWC). This year she will be chairing BJWC’s new Family Engagement Committee, which will create volunteer opportunities for children and empower them to make a positive impact on their community. In September, Emily created an Instagram account called @Two.Busy.Babies that captures her adventures with her two children, ages 3 years and 18 months, as they explore the Northwest Suburbs. She hopes this account will help connect parents in the area to fun, new activities for their children.
