Greatest risk you’ve taken as a professional? It was leaving my full-time marketing and public relations position I was at for nearly 12 years and making Chewcuterie my full-time gig. Was it scary? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the full support of my amazing husband who has been my cheerleader since day one. Being risky in business is worth it especially if you have an unstoppable support system to back you!

How should women support other women? The best way for women to support women is to simply speak highly of one another— uplifting each other and encouraging one another. In business, the biggest support I receive is getting referrals from female clients. It’s the best compliment I get!

Powerful woman you admire the most? The most powerful women I admire are those in my circle. My mother came to this country at 12, spoke no English, then earned a degree in architecture and ran a successful business for more than 30 years. I also respect my mother-in-law, who balanced raising her children with a thriving career as a young single mom. Additionally, I admire fellow working moms who excel in their careers while being dedicated parents and spouses. These women are truly the ones who inspire me most.
