On September 24, Lake Forest Open Lands Association (LFOLA) hosted 1,600 people at Middlefork Farm Nature Preserve for its annual fall fundraiser. Highland athletes, dancers, bagpipers, field games, a blue grass band, and kilted skydivers entertained the crowd. Diana and David Moore and their family were the event chairs. This one-of-a-kind fundraiser culminated with the lighting of the massive bonfire from collected invasive brush while families of all generations in attendance enjoyed dinner and drinks. lfola.org
