Since 2003, Anastasia M. Poulopoulos has successfully represented thousands of property owners in their real estate tax appeals throughout the Chicago area—doing everything from meeting with local assessors to representing clients at hearings with the board of review. “My primary practice is real estate property tax reduction in Illinois. I have spent the last 18 years focusing on five counties: Cook, Lake, McHenry, DuPage, and Will,” explains Poulopoulos, who opened her eponymous, Chicago-based practice in 2006. “One thing that sets me apart is the level of service I provide. I answer my own telephone and I speak with each client personally. I make sure that each client understands the process, the timeline, and the cost of a property tax appeal before they choose to work with me.” Poulopoulos, has a B.A.S. from Northwestern University with a major in Mathematics and a JD from DePaul University College of Law, says she chose this profession because she loves utilizing her math background to help people. “I enjoy working with numbers and trying to find savings for my valued clients,” she says, adding that her success is credited to old fashioned values. “My law practice is built around one fundamental purpose—lowering your real estate taxes. I believe and follow the old adage of hard work and perseverance.”
