Wilmette resident Allegra Biery has built a 30-year career at Northern Trust, marrying her passion for helping clients achieve optimal wealth-management outcomes with a personal mission to give back to the North Shore community. As Executive Vice President, Biery leads Northern Trust’s Wealth Management business in the Midwest states outside of Illinois and in suburban Chicago, including teams in Winnetka and Lake Forest. “Leading with advice, we take a holistic proprietary approach called Goals Driven Wealth Management,” explains Biery, who holds a B.A. from Smith College and a masters’ degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. “Assets serve a purpose, and therefore we construct portfolios aligning assets with goals.” Part of what makes Northern Trust stand out from other wealth management firms is its Northern Trust Institute, “the advice engine behind the advisors,” which consists of more than 175 experts collaborating to identify proven strategies.
