When Adeena Weiss Ortiz was a young girl, six words were spoken to her that she has fought hard her entire legal career to prove wrong—“Adeena, you can’t change the world.” From an early age, she wanted to help people and make a difference. “When that person said that to me, I responded, ‘Not if everyone takes that position’,” explains Weiss Ortiz, who has been practicing in private practice, municipal entities, and pro bono agencies for 19 years. “By the gifts of my education, professional experience, and work ethic, today I am able to help individuals achieve their legal goals.” In 2013, she founded Weiss Ortiz PC with three locations serving Chicago, La Grange Park and Deerfield. Together with two other leading attorneys, she specializes in civil, family, and commercial litigation, and transactional matters such as real estate, business formation, and estate planning— offering competitive rates to both individuals and corporations. “I have been very fortunate to have acquired a myriad of diversified experience over my career in various fields of law.
