The human supporters of Hinsdale Humane Society (HHS) enjoyed a wonderful night of dinner and dessert, wine and beer, dancing to Shaken Not Stirred Trio, as well as both silent and live auctions to celebrate 70 years of good work and build a bridge to the future. Auction items were very inventive; the opportunity to have your pet’s image on the side of a HHS van is an excellent example of the irresistible options. HHS has been wonderfully, wildly busy in their anniversary year, placing a record number of animals in forever homes from The Tuthill Family Pet Rescue & Resource Center and out in the community. Jackie Rossi, executive director of HHS called the Bridge to the Future theme, “A vision for providing even more community resource programs that help people with the necessities required for taking care of an animal.” hinsdalehumanesociety.org
