Mindful Medispa & Mediclinic in Hoffman Estates is the culmination of Dr. Lucie Bianchi’s greatest passions in life. Believing in high quality, affordable health care, and safe aesthetics for more than 20 years Bianchi has been helping people achieve beautiful skin with optimal health. Her Italian roots shine through in the beautiful, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere she effortlessly cultivates at Mindful. Here, Bianchi has created a space where people can be themselves, relax, and enjoy the treatments they are about to have. Everyone is welcome at Mindful, where they cater to both those new to, and familiar with, aesthetic treatments. They offer the five-year filler, Bellafill, for more experienced clients who want to maintain what they love already and leave them more time to enjoy other treatments. Plenty of thoughtful touches abound, including the bar with a recharging station for electronics, snacks to sample, and hydrating drinks. “Life is short,” says Bianchi, “we should enjoy every experience.”
ON HER NIGHTSTAND
“I always keep one to two bottles of water and a spare pair of readers so I can see my phone when it beeps in the middle of the night. It is so important to drink lots of water for good health and to keep our skin looking its best. Hydrated skin shows less wrinkles and sagging; it’s the most affordable life hack there is to have glowing skin (although I also highly recommend doing much more than that).”
IN YOUR EARBUDS
“Many are often surprised to learn I like hard rock. I actually love all music and there is a time and a place for all of it. Exercise is another great life hack to maintain your health and glowing skin, and I listen to Korn when I workout—it’s great motivation for when your body says no but your mind says, hell yes! When cooking, I listen to classic old blues— something complicated like Muddy Waters, Louis Jordan, or BB King.”
ON HER MOBILE
“I am addicted to Instagram. I post nearly every day and sometimes more than once a day. I love following the leaders in my industry, keeping up with community events, seeing the cool things my clients are doing, and staying in touch with friends and family. I love taking pictures so I am always reviewing, editing, creating collages, funny memes, or educational things for Instagram or for my personal use with friends. I love to make jokes, and perhaps if I wasn’t a doctor I would be a standup comedian. A very poor and destitute standup comedian!”
