JACQUELINE STEPHENS BREISCH grew up in Rosemont before attending Northwestern University for her undergraduate degree and Loyola University School of Law. Stephens Breisch and her husband returned to Rosemont in 2013, just before she began working with family law firm Schiller DuCanto & Fleck in 2014, where she was elevated to Partner in 2020. This solution-based and client-centered family law attorney prides herself on understanding and recognizing the unique intricacies and nuances of each case she takes on. By getting to know her clients, she can define clear goals and help her clients achieve success in a stressful situation. When she isn’t navigating the divorce process with her clients or serving as a trained Guardian ad Litem for the court, Stephens Breisch is focused on her own family. “My biggest priority is my children. I value my career and my ability to take my passion for the law and apply it in a way that serves my clients and their families.” Recently, Stephens Breisch and her husband became involved with various organizations supporting education and research on Type 1 diabetes. “My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes just under a year ago, and since then, my husband and I have become committed to doing everything we can to make her life easier. The breakthroughs in the last year demonstrate that funding research is crucial to achieve that goal.” Here is how the busy attorney and mom stays on-trend.
ON HER MOBILE
I couldn’t live without Amazon Prime—if I think of it, I just order it, which relieves my mental load.
ON HER NIGHTSTAND
Of course, cute photos of my kids and I’m currently reading The Wreckage of My Presence by Casey Wilson, which is equal parts hilarious and heart wrenching.
IN HER EARBUDS
I’m always listening to news podcasts as a quick way to stay current given my busy lifestyle. The Daily podcast from The New York Times is a favorite.
