AS THE HOLIDAY season approaches, many dream of that one lavish gift that might await them. And often amongst one’s most extravagant dreams is a small token of love, wrapped up in an iconic Tiffany Blue box. However, this year, there is a new, ultra-decadent option for gift giving from the famed jewelry house.
As part of an exclusive collaboration with New York-based contemporary artist Daniel Arsham, Tiffany & Co. has created the Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box. The exclusive series includes 49 eroded bronze sculptures studded with jagged gold crystals and featuring a new hue Arsham calls ‘Tiffany Green.’ Held carefully inside the work of art is a limited- edition Tiffany x Arsham Studio Knot bracelet in 18k white gold with diamonds and tsavorites inside the box.
It’s nothing short of breathtaking.
“Tiffany Blue is so recognizable, but I wanted to use it in a different way than it was originally intended,” Arsham explained in a statement. “My work imagines a contemporary object as if we’ve transported it to the future and brought the object back. And this time dislocation creates a sort of paradox in the object itself. You have this thing that you know from your current era, but it looks old.”
The Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box is just another chapter in the distinguished history of Tiffany & Co., which long has captured the hearts of jewelry enthusiasts everywhere, along with today’s biggest stars. Earlier this year, breakthrough entertainer Anya Taylor-Joy hit the award show circuit not only drenched in nominations for her role in The Queen’s Gambit, but also drenched in Tiffany & Co. diamonds. Tracee Ellis Ross, nominee for Best Actress in a Comedy for Black-ish, also let Tiffany & Co. diamonds add to her sparkle during award show season, donning everything from Tiffany earrings in 18k yellow gold and diamonds to a Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger® Cooper bracelet in platinum and 18k yellow gold with diamonds.
