THE SHOWHOUSE REVEAL

A spectacular new chapter is on the horizon for the Lake Forest Showhouse & Gardens. More than 70 designers and friends gathered at SPACE 519’s pop-up Design Shop at the Merchandise Mart for the big reveal of the site for the 2027 show house. Built in the 1890s by renowned Chicago architects Holabird & Roche, the East Lake Forest estate spans nearly 12,000 square feet across three finished levels and nearly 1.5 acres. Next spring, the historic property will be transformed by some of the country’s leading designers, with tours open to the public May 1 to 30.
