Allendale Women’s Board is hitting the slopes again this winter, transporting guests to Val d’Isère in the French Alps, where the post-run revelry is epic. At La Folie Douce in Val d’Isère, the après ski scene is a blend of fashion and theatrics, including amazing DJs, costumed characters, smoke guns, and dancers. Top event production company ESP Presents will again set the scene, both indoors and out, at Conway Farms Golf Club, where Allendale Women’s Board debuted the Après Ski theme last February. Also returning will be beats spun by Chicago club DJ Sleepy Eagz and Chef Paul Kahan of One Off Hospitality, who will design a menu based on Alpine favorites and dishes from avec, the acclaimed restaurant opening a Highwood location this summer. Allendale is a nonprofit child welfare agency dedicated to the care, education, treatment, and advocacy for disadvantaged youth in Illinois.
