Board members, senior management, local business and construction professionals gathered September 17 for an official groundbreaking ceremony signaling the start of a long-awaited residential project plus two major renovations at KING-BRUWAERT HOUSE (KBH) in Burr Ridge. One of the biggest projects ever undertaken by KBH in its 88-year history will be The Gardens of King-Bruwaert House, an exciting new development to be built on the 35-acre campus. The 44 independent living apartment homes will bring spacious luxury residences to the community with the largest floor plan offering over 2,300 square feet. The Gardens will feature classic Georgian architecture that will blend gracefully into a wooded, picturesque setting. The new apartment residences are just steps away from a walking path, two ponds, gardens, fenced-in dog park and a tributary of Flagg Creek.
