UNISON HOME CELEBRATES 15 YEARS
As young designers, Chicago natives Alicia and Robert Segal journeyed to Finland to live and work for legendary design house, Marimekko. After five years abroad, they returned to Chicago and remaining inspired by the joyful simplicity and quality of life they felt in Scandinavia started home furnishings company, Unison, in 2006. Launching with a colorful, graphic collection of bedding and throw pillows that focused on simplicity with the highest production standards, the collection soon grew to tablecloths and linens. Today, Unison’s collections exist alongside 20+ designers and artists with products for every room of the house. This fall, UK designer Aaron Probyn launched his first standalone collection in the US with Unison.
