DISCOVER CHICAGO FROM ABOVE THROUGH SKYCHI ART EXHIBIT FEATURING CHARLES MARTINEZ DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY
The newest art exhibition, SkyChi, at the 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck showcases 14 of the most captivating images by Chicago drone photographer Charles Martinez. The exhibit can be seen now through July, and ninety percent of photography sales displayed in his gallery will be donated to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cathedral School. Born in Panama City, Panama, Martinez is a world traveler and self-taught aerial photographer who has lived in Chicago for the past seven years, capturing the beauty of the city from high above. “Chicago is beautiful from all angles, and that uniqueness keeps me falling in love with it over and over,” says Martinez, who often shoots early in the morning to avoid traffic and pedestrians. “This is the best city in the world, with modern, antique, old, and new. I’ve been to other cities around the world but the sense of belonging I feel here is unmatched,” he adds. For more information, visit 360chicago.com.
