WHIMSY AMONG THE TREES
Beginning May 17, visitors to The Morton Arboretum will be greeted by a collection of five massive sculptures. The new exhibition, titled Vivid Creatures: Colorful Sculptures as Tall as Trees, is the work of artists Heather and Fez BeGaetz. The sculptures include a white-tailed deer, dragonfly, sandhill crane, fox squirrel, and a brittle button snail. They range in size from eight to 23 feet tall. The artists focused on animals that either migrate through or are a part of the Illinois region.
