ARTIST FOR HIRE

In her youth, artist Noa Leisbon spent time riding her horse on the many Barrington trails. Upon returning from graduate school in Scotland, Leisbon turned her talent for art towards her passion for animal pursuits. Whether interested in a simple portrait of your horse or other subject, she works to design the piece to meet the aesthetic wishes of the commissioner—be that a present day painting, or one in which she sets the piece in the English countryside in days of yore. MAINSTREET ART CENTER EXPANDS

Mainstreet Art Center, in downtown Lake Zurich, is expanding with the opening of the Mainstreet Gallery right next door. Their Grand Opening will be April 29 to May 1. Exhibiting local and national artists, Mainstreet Gallery will feature contemporary and traditional fine art: including paintings in various mediums, mixed media, ceramic, glass, wood, and fiber works. Building on an already vibrant arts community in the Lake Zurich area, the gallery provides a place for community members to engage with fine art, artists to be inspired, and offers professional and emerging artists opportunities to display their work.
