Fleur + Form turns flowers into elevated experiences, immersive installations, and unexpected acts of beauty.

There are florists, and then there is Fleur + Form—the Barrington-based floral studio that has become one of the most sought-after names in elevated floral design. Their unmistakable floral designs are a work of true art, and it shows.

Its founder and creative director, Promiti Prosun, brings over a decade of brand marketing experience into her work, but her approach is inherently artistic. She draws from the innate rhythm and movement of nature, and the unique character of each stem to create compositions that are unmistakably art. The result is work that is refined yet expressive, where strong design meets the raw beauty of the flowers themselves. For Prosun, florals are not simply decoration, but a powerful extension of design and identity.

“Before floral design, I spent over a decade in brand marketing, so I naturally think beyond ‘what looks pretty,’” she says. “I think about identity, atmosphere, emotion, and how florals can shape the way a space feels and how people remember it.”

The result is work that feels as intentional as a luxury interior and as editorial as a fashion spread—only alive, fragrant, and breathtakingly beautiful.

Fleur + Form’s client roster is, in a word, impressive. Prosun has brought her distinctive aesthetic to brand activations and experiential moments for global luxury houses including Dior, Bulgari, Ferrari, Prada, and Range Rover. In June of this year, she also added the James Beard Awards to her portfolio. For Prosun, these engagements go far beyond arranging blooms.

“They’re always about translating a brand’s identity into something physical and immersive,” she explains. “It’s less about the flowers themselves and more about how they fit into an experience.”

For corporate hospitality clients—think luxury restaurants, private clubs, high-end offices, and retail environments—Fleur + Form also offers ongoing floral programs that become woven into a space’s living identity.

Her goal is to make everything feel elevated, intentional, and seamlessly integrated. “I’m less interested in rigid, traditional formulas and more interested in movement, seasonality, texture, and letting nature lead,” she says. “Flowers already know how to be beautiful and it’s my job to simply let them shine.”

Her design sensibility is her commitment to the unconventional, and one project that captures this spirit was a desert-inspired installation created in the dead of winter.

“Instead of leaning into traditional winter florals, I built something textural, warm, and transportive using sculptural blooms, earthy tones, dried elements, and movement that felt almost windswept.”

The dedication that project demanded was total.

“I even pulled over on the side of the road because I spotted the perfect dried grasses I knew the design needed,” she says. “Sometimes inspiration does not wait, and when you care deeply about the final result, you do what it takes for the art.”

Prosun brings that same energy to her personal clients. For intimate and celebratory gatherings, her dedication and level of care remains exactly the same.

“I think about how people will move through the space, where focal points should live, what guests will first notice, and how florals can elevate the entire atmosphere.” As she put it simply, “The right florals don’t just decorate a gathering, they help define the experience.”

Sourcing primarily through Chicago’s wholesale markets with a heavy emphasis on supporting local flower farmers in the warmer months, every stem Fleur + Form chooses is highly considered.

“The focus is always on quality and character, unique varieties, strong stems, and blooms that hold their own visually,” Prosun explains. “We’re selective with what we bring in, which is why our arrangements tend to feel elevated and unique.”

That strong character goes beyond her handpicked selections. In February 2025, Prosun placed fresh flowers throughout the community, each with a handwritten note inviting whoever found them to keep the blooms or pass them along.

“The idea was to create unexpected moments of joy and connection in the middle of an ordinary day,” she says. “Flowers have a unique way of instantly lifting one’s spirits, and it’s been wonderful to see how a simple gesture can ripple outward.”

“I truly enjoy being a part of and supporting Barrington locals and organizations,” she says.

In a town with a strong sense of community, she’s excited to continue contributing, while helping elevate the overall experience through thoughtful, design-forward florals. “As much as I love working in the city, there’s something especially meaningful about serving my own community and showing just how special Barrington is,” she says.
