The North Shore real estate powerhouse that is KATHRYN BADER MANGEL and KELLY O’CONNELL MANGEL (aka Team Mangel) is one that was decades in the making. Kathryn and Kelly first met on the Wilmette All-Star softball team as grade schoolers. Today they combine those same winning attitudes and an extensive real estate network to provide solutionsoriented expertise. Most rewarding part of what you do? We love our clients’ happily ever after! We are so grateful to work with so many amazing clients who refer us to their family, friends, and neighbors. It is immensely gratifying to right-size and transition clients successfully. Not only can we help them purchase a home locally, but we also assist with their real estate portfolio, including vacation homes, children’s properties, and investment real estate— we’re global!

How should women support other women? Behind every strong woman is an even stronger woman. We grew up with working mothers who were our role models and continue to be the wind beneath our wings.

How do you inspire others? We like to lead by example and enjoy giving back to our community. Our philanthropic endeavors have included chairing events and committees at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Kohl Children’s Museum, Rush University Medical Center, Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and local schools/preschools.

Definition of success? We enjoy the success of our clients when we find them their perfect home or enable them to move to dream destinations. We are honored to work with many special clients who become our dear friends.
