TIFFANY ERICKSON is an NBCUniversal media gal by day and a personal stylist by night. First and foremost a mom, Erickson lives by the motto “You get more done when you have more on your plate.” Her active life begins with content creation in the early morning hours then parlays into school drop-off, a PTO popin, and selling something related to Bravo, E! Live from the Red Carpet, TODAY, or Saturday Night Live. She launched her styling business, TE STYLE, in 2016 as a side hustle when friends encouraged her to monetize her fashion troubleshooting. This gig perfectly complements a media career where brands, fashion, and pop culture intersect. Erickson’s passion for event styling has also led her into the wedding industry where she most recently teamed up with Pearce Weddings & Events to create magic on the aisle. She resides in Winnetka with her husband, Lucas, and their three children. Here’s how this wife, mother, media maven, stylist, volunteer, and multitasker stays on-trend.
“Every year for Christmas, my husband spends hours researching the perfect books to gift everyone on both sides of the family. My gift this year was My Name is Barbara by Barbara Streisand. I’m excited to dive in for many reasons. 2023 was the “Year of the Girl”—Barbie, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift. Babs is the OG It girl and, by any account, a living legend. She’s a woman whose career spans six decades and is among only a handful of EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony Award) winners. As I am a former dancer, he had a hunch this would speak to me. Nailed it.”
“After I attempt Wordle and read the Ad Age: Advertising & Marketing Technology News wake-up call, I scroll on over to all things lifestyle, pop culture, and NBCUniversal—sprinkling in some parenting and self-care content. As a former magazine ad sales seller, I find that Apple News is today’s digital version of a glossy mag. My guilty pleasure is anything royal family-related because, well, Kate Middleton does everything right.”
“I’m an audiobook gal, so chances are any new release will be consumed in my ears. I’m a sucker for true crime but How I Built This with Guy Raz is my all-time favorite podcast. When I’m not feeding my brain, I’m listening to yacht rock, Beyoncé, or some West Coast ‘90s hip-hop.”
