STORYBOOK GALA

The nonprofit Pitch In, along with its founding board members Kerry and Sarah Wood, hosted its annual Storybook Gala at Morgan Manufacturing. The evening’s theme was inspired by the bestselling book Rainbow Fish and welcomed more than 250 guests for cocktails, dinner, a live auction, and a program that honored Dr. Janice Jackson with the inaugural “Sarah and Kerry Wood Pitching In For Chicago’s Kids Award.” Funds raised support Pitch In’s mentoring program, which fosters high-quality mentoring relationships between supportive adults and students while providing exposure to a social-emotional learning curriculum. pitchinchicago.org
