Most rewarding part of what you do? Professionally, it is that moment when it clicks for a client—when we have found “their voice” for their social media. This could be a client who was terrified of the thought of being on camera realizing they love it, or that client who won’t be on camera realizing we have found a creative way for their social media to be unique. Personally, it is the ability to be present in my family’s day-to-day lives, be engaged in the community, and give back, while still being able to pursue my passions.

Best piece of advice for anyone starting out? Accept that being uncomfortable, having moments of self-doubt, and feeling like you don’t know what to do and when, are all part of starting your own business. It is scary and thrilling, and has huge highs and what can feel like deep lows. It is a rollercoaster, but always stay consistent and committed. Remember to be patient and have grace with yourself. The hard times pass, and from those hard times, you’ll learn the most about your craft and yourself. It is a blessing to do something you love, to help others, and to have the flexibility working for yourself offers.
