The Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance hosted a St. Patrick’s Day Party and Céilí at Gorton Center on March 17, bringing a touch of Ireland to Lake Forest! More than 250 attendees enjoyed tunes from renowned seisiún players Andrew Serb and his Natchez Avenue Band, performances from Fitzpatrick School dancers, a full corned beef dinner, Irish whiskey tasting, and children’s crafts provided by Irish Community Services. Many in attendance even dusted off their dancing shoes for a special céilí, where they learned a traditional Irish dance in front of their friends and neighbors!
