What does the idea of power mean to you? Power is not about money or material things but instead, about influencing those in your life in a positive and inspiring way. Real power is quiet yet effective and its impact on others is lasting and meaningful. Power for women is living our best lives with supreme confidence and independence knowing that we can accomplish anything and courageously lead our families and communities.

How should women support other women? Women have great intuition and a unique set of life experiences, and we should constantly share our insights with other women in both personal and professional areas. Imparting our wisdom on other women is something I take very seriously as we need to continue to educate and motivate future generations. Additionally, I support women-owned businesses because I appreciate what it takes as a woman to balance family and business and there’s nothing more encouraging than getting support from other likeminded women.

What is the most important characteristic of an effective leader? Having a burning desire for excellence is the most important characteristic of an effective leader. When a leader has genuine and intense passion, she can accomplish anything—motivating and leading others in a highly rewarding and enjoyable manner.
