How does an evening at a local hotspot with Gary Fencik of the 1985 Chicago Bears sound? It’s happening November 5, 2022, at Pinstripes Oak Brook in support of Operation Support Our Troops-America (OSOT-A).

“Red, White, and Blues” is the brainchild of local leaders Dave and Chris Pequet, who launched the evening of music and fun in 2014 in honor of the men and women who serve our country.

Dave is a former U.S. Navy officer who knows exactly how important it is to take care of these dedicated people.

“Chris and I are so proud to spearhead this event again,” Dave says, adding, “We are so grateful to our friends and the community who really step up for the mission of OSOT-A.”

Chris is the daughter of a WWII veteran and the have a passion for boosting the morale and wellbeing of American forces by providing comfort, resources, and education to them and their families both while they are deployed in harm’s way and upon their return stateside. This caring couple wants our military community to know they are not forgotten.

Partnering with OSOT-A allows the funds raised at Red, White and Blues to go further, positively impacting more than 700,000 troops around the globe and at home.

Headquartered in Naperville, OSOT-A is a grassroots organization that has grown over the past 19 years to become one of the largest volunteer-based military support organizations in the country. Volunteers give more than 10,000 hours to OSOT-A each year and more than two million care packages have been sent by the group.

“Chris and I can’t think of a more worthwhile organization to partner with in our efforts to give back to those who have given so much to our country,” says Dave Pequet. The money raised at this event goes straight to where it’s most needed.”

The evening will feature music by Chicago Blues All Stars, surprises and storytelling, plus returning emcee Gary Fencik, a devoted friend of the organization and a beloved member of the 1986 Superbowl-winning Bears team.
