On September 28, The Woman’s Board of RUSH University Medical Center hosted “A Night in the White City,” a fundraising event that connected the innovative spirit of the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair with RUSH’s commitment to transforming healthcare. For the evening, the Palmer House Hilton’s Grand Ballroom was transformed with World’s Fair-inspired decor and delights, including a floral Ferris wheel, silent auction items from Daniel Burnham’s archives, Bertha Palmer’s famous brownies, and performances by mentalist Sidney Friedman. The funds raised will benefit The Woman’s Board Endowed Fund for Research and Clinical Trials, which aims to support groundbreaking research and advancements in medicine. thewomansboard.org
