The Larysa Domino Group is recognized as a leading real estate team with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate in Hinsdale and surrounding areas. This Hinsdale native’s success is often attributed to her background in corporate finance and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. A Northwestern University alumna with a B.A. in Economics, CPA, and an MBA from the Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, Domino’s core business principle is that a comprehensive market analysis creates competitive advantages for all— whether that involves pricing and preparing a listing or negotiating an offer. Helping clients make sound investments in the place they call home is her specialty.

What trends are you currently seeing in the real estate market, and how do you anticipate it evolving over the next year?
The number of homes traded privately, off-market, has increased over the past year. We have many sellers who are interested in a private sale due to the targeted nature of an off-market transaction. We pair these sellers with buyers that are looking for a very similar home. Buyers benefit from the process because of the access to great homes without the hassle of multiple bids. Sellers are safeguarded with a very private transaction, minimal showings, and a great price. We have access to many off-market opportunities and this pipeline has benefited our clients tremendously.

The luxury market has its own dynamics. How do you tailor your approach when working with high-net-worth individuals or luxury properties?
The Christie’s International Real Estate brand is the oldest brand in luxury. Our clients benefit from the synergies of this brand and worldwide exposure. We are focused on a full concierge approach to make our client’s move as seamless as possible. We take care of every detail from scheduling renovation work to styling and staging the home for sale along with everything in between.

How do you set realistic expectations for your clients, particularly when it comes to pricing and timelines?
We tailor a customized marketing strategy for each client. It is tailored to their desired move timeline and transaction privacy level. Pricing is not a “one size fits all” approach. Pricing depends on seasonality, whether the sale is a private or full MLS listing, and move timeline. It can be tricky for sure!
