All of our lives have changed so much over the past 6 months. Dealing with COVID-19 has forced us to change how we live. One aspect of this change is the management of testing for virus positivity. Most of the current tests that we take require a two to three day wait time before we get the results. Well, not anymore.

Our office has acquired the CUE Health Rapid COVID-19 testing system. It uses a small nasal swab for collection. It is only 1.5 inches long and does not need to be inserted all the way into your sinuses like so many of the current tests. The swab is placed into the Cue test reader and in 25 minutes, we have the results. The testing system has shown to have 99 percent accuracy.

We are offering this test to everyone. The appointment only takes about 10 minutes for filling out the paperwork and collecting the sample. You do not have to wait for the results. We will text you with the results as soon as they are available. We can also provide you with written confirmation should you need it for verification.

The cost of the test is $250. We ask for payment up front and we will submit a claim to your health insurance or Medicare and they will reimburse you directly. For our current dental patients, we will submit the claim and wait for reimbursement directly.
