KELLY KIRCHHEIMER is a leading luxury real estate advisor in Chicago’s Western Suburbs, representing REAL Brokerage as its first Illinois luxury agent. With an MBA and more than a decade of real estate experience—including a successful career in corporate sales leadership—Kirchheimer brings strategy, market expertise, and an unmatched commitment to her clients. Known for her discretion, responsiveness, and deep local knowledge, she has become the trusted resource for families navigating life’s biggest transitions, from relocation to right-sizing to moving to be near family.
What excites you most about the future of your industry? I’m really excited about the wave we’re on with generative AI and the way technology can actually elevate human connection. Residential real estate is highly personal and very high touch when we are doing it right. By letting technology streamline the background tasks, we’re freed up to be more present with our clients to deliver even better service and focus on the people which is what really matters.
What conversations are you passionate about bringing to the table? While I have all kinds of passions, I really do love talking about the real estate market and especially how different the Western Suburbs can look compared to the national headlines. Even from nearby, zip code to zip code, we see micro-trends that shift quickly and can look very different just a few blocks away. Right now, our hyperlocal market shows tremendous resilience for home sellers which is a nice place to be.
How do you define confidence—and how have you built it? Confidence comes for me when I am prepared and consistent. I find that staying curious and asking questions, whether it’s about a client’s specific needs or understanding market trends, helps me go deeper with whatever we’re working on. I don’t think it is ever about having the “right” answer but knowing that I can find an answer, adapt, and guide others through uncertainty.
What legacy do you hope to leave behind? For me, it’s more about the small choices … showing up when people need you, doing what’s right even when it is harder, and really caring about the people around you. If I have any legacy, I hope it’s that I lived with integrity and that the people closest to me, my friends, family, and clients, felt supported and understood. And I hope they say I was a good mom.
