Greatest risk you’ve taken as a professional? I have made strategic decisions that have consistently reinforced my confidence and clarity regarding my business goals. I took bold steps leaving a brokerage to join a team, where I elevated my staging and marketing skills—which I know to significantly increase a home’s ultimate sale price. I subsequently transitioned back to being my own principal agent and rooted at a brokerage that aligned with my vision and values. Although these decisions were risky and pivotal, they have been instrumental in refining my business and enhancing the service I provide to my clients.
Best piece of advice for anyone starting out? Be authentic. Learn the processes, procedures, and business, while doing it in your own unique way. Pay attention, know your strengths, and avoid comparison. You can and will succeed by being yourself. Zoom out, assess your goals, and recalibrate often.
