Quartz Countertops

QUARTZ V. GRANITE? Quartz countertops are the rage among today’s kitchen remodelers. It’s easy to see why. The beautiful stone comes in a wide array of colors and patterns and has a rich, consistent look and feel. But is it better than granite?
We particularly like the ability to create a spectacular waterfall installation of a quartz countertop. This countertop shines with a long, uncut area around high-functioning work station.
Although granite is also lovely in this setting, the nature of the stone prevents customized styling.
The downside to quartz countertops is their ability to withstand heat. If you cook a lot, you may prefer granite or marble, which naturally resist heat.
Quartz countertops are a beautiful way to upgrade a current or new kitchen, bathroom, or laundry room. If heat resistance is paramount, however, then choose granite or marble.
