JENNIFER S. TIER and GIA M. CONTI had a couple of things in common before becoming partners at Feinberg Sharma P.C.: they’re both North Shore natives and always shared a love for the law. “I knew I wanted to be a family law attorney from the time I was in high school,” Tier says. “I heard my friends speak about their parent’s divorces and I was drawn to both the emotional and legal aspects of the issues. Early on in my career I decided that being a family law attorney was not just a job, but a career. I wanted to be at firm where I could shape my own destiny and make an impact on this evolving area of the law.” Her diligence, calm professionalism, and attention for detail make her a highly skilled litigator. Conti says that she got to where she is today because, “I was never afraid to ask to buy someone (no matter how powerful or influential) a cup of coffee to learn from them and to make long-lasting connections.” Her successful career and strategic, edgy, and straightforward business style stem from her innate drive to always do better for her clients, her love for the law, and her strong litigation skills. Always striving to learn more, she continues to expand her legal education, receiving mediation training at Northwestern University. The dynamic duo both say their mothers are their role models, having instilled in them a strong work ethic while showing them how to be powerhouses in their profession.
