Miller lives with the love of his life and wife, Sheila, in Barrington.
Last compliment from a customer that reminded you the products and service you provide makes a difference in the lives of your clientele?
One of our long time customers of 35 years stopped into the store and brought in her future son-in-law to buy her daughter an engagement ring. They have spoken of the fine pieces they have collected with me throughout the years and the young gentleman didn’t bother checking anywhere else.
Last hunt you attended that stands out as being spectacular and special in some way?
Every hunt is about the people, the beauty of the surroundings, and enjoying being outside. I am lucky that I have been able to hunt with fantastic friends regularly.
Last jewelry expedition where you found something amazing?
Finding Paraiba Tourmalines in Mozambique. Paraiba Tourmalines are rare, electric blue tourmalines. I brought them home and made them into a spectacular pair of earrings.
Last piece of exquisite jewelry you designed that is worth mentioning?
Designing a gorgeous, sea-themed piece of jewelry for members of a group who are planning and coordinating intimate diving excursions around the world to save the coral reefs.
Last family occasion you’ll remember for a long time?
My stepdaughter’s wedding in October. It was a fantastic event with just immediate family and a few close friends.
