SUSAN MAMAN, a luxury consultant with @properties in Winnetka, remembers meeting company co-founder Thad Wong over a decade ago. “We had numerous meetings where we talked about the possibility of my leaving the local Glencoe brokerage where I had worked for six years and coming to join the new office opening up in Winnetka. I actually felt a strong sense of loyalty to that brokerage and felt guilty leaving,” says Maman, a New Trier Township High School alumna. “Thad drove up to my house in Glencoe and I finally took a leap of faith to join @properties the day they opened the doors in their Winnetka office.
