MAISON DU PRINCE is an independently-owned, home and floral boutique in Winnetka’s Laundry Mall. Owner, Ramsey Prince, applies his artistic eye and background in interior design to curate the boutique’s unique merchandise. “We offer various candle lines including our own signature brand, handmade vessels for flowers and plants, home accents, and furnishings peppered with unique vintage finds and, of course, fresh floral brought in daily,” says Prince. Maison Du Prince is also excited to offer its customers special event floral and décor and custom corporate and personal gift packages. Prince doesn’t stop at singular events, he is also offering a subscription program, The Beehive, which allows customers to sign up for monthly or weekly fresh floral delivery.
The boutique materialized after many conversations between Prince and his now business partner, Sarah Airola. The two started a friendship years ago while working in the event industry. As an event planner with North Shore Weddings and Events, Airola saw Ramsey’s breathtaking creations firsthand. “I felt he had to develop his own brand,” she says. Both felt Winnetka would be the perfect location for the boutique. “We knew the North Shore community would appreciate the quality and creativity we hoped to showcase throughout the business, as well as our dedication to offering a high level of service to every client,” explains Prince.
